TUESDAY NIGHT ISLAND BUSTERS GROUP RIDES

Rides resume March 24

Grab your bike (and helmet) and meet us at Blue Sky Endurance – 624 Coleman Blvd for our weekly Tuesday Night Group Ride.

The ride leaves promptly at 6:00 PM.

Please plan to arrive early for announcements and pre-ride instructions.

The route heads to Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms for a ~20 mile ride with A, B, and C group options.

All riders must complete a waiver in the store before participating.

Important Route Notice

Due to the construction on Ben Sawyer Blvd, riders must use extreme caution while traveling through that section.

• Riders must stay together as a group
• Follow the ride leader’s instructions through the construction area
• Be especially aware of traffic and changing road conditions

Your cooperation is critical for keeping the group safe.

Let’s Keep This Safe

Helmets are required. No helmet, no ride.

Before arriving, please ensure:

  • Tires are properly inflated
  • Your bike is in good working order
  • You bring your own water (we will stop for refills)
  • Lights are highly encouraged

Let’s Keep This Chill

Tuesday Night Rides are social group rides, not race efforts.

No drop does not mean no responsibility.

Riders must come prepared with:

  • A road bike
  • A flat repair kit
  • Tri bikes are welcome, but aero bars must not be used while riding in the pace line.
  • The ability to maintain a minimum pace of 15 mph for ~20 miles

For safety reasons, hybrids (flat handlebars), cruisers, and mountain bikes are not permitted unless you are truly capable of maintaining the required pace.

We welcome riders who are new to road riding or group riding, but all riders must be able to keep up with their group to ensure the safety of everyone.

Each rider is also responsible for knowing the route and being able to navigate home if needed.

Let’s Have Fun

A friendly wave to fellow cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers goes a long way. Remember—we all share the road.

New season. New goals. New swag.

Complete 15 Tuesday Night Rides this season and earn a custom piece of Blue Sky swag—plus bragging rights.
